Kim Stevens is the Chief Operating Officer of Essential Equipment Enterprise and proud U.S. Navy veteran from Eubank, Kentucky. Kim brings firsthand operational experience and disciplined leadership to every aspect of the organization.
After graduating high school, she enlisted in the United States Navy, where she served as a structural mechanic on military helicopters. In this role, she worked in environments where precision, accountability, and equipment reliability were mission-critical and lives depended on getting it right every time. That experience shaped her operational mindset and long-term approach to problem-solving.
Following her military service, Kim remained actively engaged in the military aviation community and continued a lifestyle centered around the outdoors, firearms proficiency, and equipment readiness. Her hands-on experience with weapons systems and high-risk environments led her to identify a persistent gap in weapon retention solutions—one that ultimately drove the creation of the Triangle Weapon Retention System.
As Chief Operating Officer of Essential Equipment Enterprise, Kim oversees operations with a focus on performance, reliability, and real-world application. Her leadership ensures that products are designed not just to meet standards, but to function under pressure for military, law enforcement, and professional users who depend on their equipment every day.
