Jammye McQuade is the Chief Operating Officer of Essential Equipment Enterprise and a lifelong student of discipline, service, and purpose. A Christian, husband, and father, Jammye brings faith-grounded leadership and real-world operational experience to everything he builds.
After high school, Jammye attended Eastern Kentucky University on a football scholarship, studying Criminal Justice with the goal of becoming a Kentucky State Trooper. Seeking to strengthen his path into law enforcement, he enlisted in the U.S. Army—where he quickly discovered his calling within U.S. Special Operations.
Jammye spent a long and distinguished career serving both on the ground and in the air supporting SOCOM missions, followed by additional time as a contractor. Those years shaped his understanding of what equipment must do when lives depend on it: work flawlessly, adapt instantly, and never get in the way.
During a deployment, Jammye identified a critical gap in existing weapon slings and designed a special-purpose solution. The design proved so effective that he was making additional units the very next day for both his team and the partner forces they were training. That field-born solution would later become the foundation of Triangle Weapon Retention System.
More than 25 years later, Jammye holds the patent for what is now known as the Triangle WRS (Weapon Retention System). Its modular design and truly hands-free approach to weapon handling—across multiple weapon platforms—form the backbone of the company today.
In addition to leading Triangle WRS, Jammye is a licensed manufacturer holding an 07 FFL and 02 SOT, allowing him to manufacture and sell NFA items including suppressors and short-barreled rifles. His mission remains clear: build gear born from experience, proven in the field, and trusted by professionals who cannot afford failure.
